Formed in 2012, DAMIAN is the musical collaboration of brothers Jason Damian (vocals, guitar), Brendan Damian (vocals, guitar, keyboards), and Andrew Damian (vocals, bass, keyboards). They were introduced to music at a very young age by their father, a gospel singer-songwriter. After getting their start leading worship in their local church—where they continue to serve today—God began inspiring them to write songs of their own. Blending Christian Alt-Pop and Indie Pop with a chill, sun-soaked feel and the expansive textures of ambient and cinematic Britpop, the band crafts a sound that is both heartfelt and immersive. Born and raised in Portland, Oregon, the brothers ventured to Nashville after an early demo caught the attention of members of Switchfoot and several key producers within the Christian music industry. That move led to the writing and recording of their first EP, P U S H. Since their debut, DAMIAN has taken the stage alongside some of the most recognized names in Christian music, including For King & Country, TobyMac, Hillsong Young & Free, Relient K, Skillet and more. They’ve also had the honor of teaming up with Tori Kelly for a special live rendition of Johnnyswim’s “Touching Heaven,” a testament to both their musicianship and versatility. In 2019, their self-produced independent single “Light” became a breakout success, landing a spot on Spotify’s “Top Christian & Gospel” playlist. The track went on to become the band’s first major hit, earning over 1 million streams on that playlist alone and connecting with listeners worldwide. With their signature blend of melody and message, DAMIAN continues to push creative boundaries while staying deeply rooted in their faith in Jesus, their love for others, and the brotherly bond that started it all.
